Changing the Dlink router channel


Change the router channel requires when you face a network issue and searching for another network available waiting for the range. And you have to connect with these networks with your device. To change the channel of the router you can follow the steps mentioned below.
Step 1:-Enter the address HTTP dlinkrouter local in the web browser after open the browser. On the next page, it will demand the username and password. Let it blank and click on the login option.
Step 2:-On the top of configuration page click on setup page then click the wireless settings button on the left side.

Step 3:-Click on the option Manual Wireless Network setup here.
Step 4:-Here you have to disable the option “Enable Auto Channel Scan” box.
Step 5:-Here you need to select the channel from the drop-down menu. Forgetting the best results use channel number 1,6 or 11.how to dlink router as a switch
Step 6:-Click on to the option of saving settings to save all the settings you have made on the page HTTP dlinkrouter local.
Note:-In some of the cases most of the wireless adaptors find a wireless network automatically with the help of SSID you have assigned to the router. It will then automatically detect and lock onto the channel of the router. You only need to change the channel on the router. 

By changing the channel, you will find that now the router performing well and improved performance gives you better quality networks. So that you can make your experience better and use the networks without any disturbance in the system. You can check the performance and improve it again by changing onto another channel if found any type of error on the channels you have selected by changing one by one.
