Network sharing settings for your tplink

To change the network sharing settings you have to follow the steps as mentioned below. The issue is that the storage sharing option works in the case of enabling the CIFS protocol in the window because the router use to make the attached storage which appears as a network drive letter in the File Explorer.

Step 1: -Log into the web interface by launching the web browser in the system.
Step 2:-Here by moving to the left menu click on to the USB settings, then User account. Click on the edit to modify or click on the Add new user to add the new.
Note:-In the default settings you cannot delete the two items and the user name cannot be modified. You can add two more items besides that. In the case of two new items these can be deleted or Use name, Password, Storage Authority and FTP Access can be modified.
Step 3:-Now to make new settings effect you have to restart the network sharing service.
Some times windows may ask to stop the access to shared files after change the user account due to a recorded user account in the system.system time setting of tp link wifi routers
This can be solved by deleting it. To delete the same on your computer click on start then click on run in the search box.

If you are using the address 192.168.1.1 for shared file, then delete it with the use 192.168.1.1/delete/yes
If you used to visit the shared files by \\192.168.1.1\share name. Then delete the account on the computer with net use\\192.168.1.1\share name\delete\yes.
If the problem is still not solved the problem. In that case, the restart of the computer will help to solve. Here new login window will display then you have a login here with new account details.
